Meet the Team
Derek Jorgensen
managing director
In Australia, WorldClaim Partners is headed up by Derek Jorgensen, an insurance professional with almost 30 years experience in claims management and preparation. Derek has formal qualifications in business accounting as well as the Royal Society of loss adjusters. He has worked at a senior level preparing claims for multi-national enterprises, major pieces of equipment and multimillion dollar business interruptions as well as residences in some of the most exclusive areas on the East Coast of Australia.
Derek has headed up his own organisation for the past 15 years and it was his success as an objective, independent loss adjuster that has made him the perfect leader to represent the US based WorldClaim organisation in Australia.
As well as representing WorldClaim in the region, Derek has also travelled to some of the world’s biggest recent natural disasters in order to manage claims preparation amongst areas impacted by earthquakes as well as major floods and storms.
Derek’s extensive experience in claims preparation and his understanding of the effects of catastrophic events on businesses, combined with his financial and accounting expertise provides invaluable support to clients. He helps guide their strategic direction during business disruptions and rebuilding efforts.
Andrew J Fusco
DIRECTOR
The WorldClaim story began in 1971 when the Fusco family experienced a house fire in their family home. As a result of this tragedy, the Fusco family became public adjusters and in 1983, Andrew Fusco took the reins of the family business and began WorldClaim. In the decades since then, they have grown to become an international network of insurance claims advocates.
Andrew is an international loss consultant with over 31 years of experience in the insurance industry handling multi-million dollar catastrophe claims including commercial, residential, institutional, manufacturing and governmental throughout 18 countries. His breadth of experience both in terms of claims analysis and preparation, as well as the extensive range of affected properties and geographical locations makes Andrew an invaluable resource for WorldClaim Partners.
Andrew brings considerable leadership experience and is especially adept at building and maintaining relationships with our largest international stakeholders. WorldClaim Partners benefits from his extensive industry connections across the globe. WorldClaim’s global claims management reach extends across five continents and numerous countries, including the United States, Nepal, Mexico, Spain and Ecuador as well as Australia.
Neil Jorgensen

With over 30 years of experience in marketing and customer experience, Neil is passionate about delivering value-based outcomes for customers. As an experienced CX and Marketing Manager, he has overseen national sales and marketing activities and championed brands across global and domestic markets.
Neil is also a certified Scrum Master, Product Owner and Scrum@Scale Practitioner, with extensive knowledge and skills in Agile methodologies, Lean principles, innovation and continuous improvement. He brings considerable Agile operational knowledge to WorldClaim Partners and pairs this with supporting the organisations’ strong client-focussed culture.
Neil manages the business development and stakeholder engagement activities at WorldClaim Partners. His role focusses on understanding and articulating the impact of insurance and the issues of major un-planned disruption on businesses and families and their navigation through resilience, recovery and renewal.
Rachel Brook
OPERATIONS
Rachel Brook is a seasoned enterprise risk management leader with considerable experience embedding risk management frameworks operationally, evaluating and managing risk processes, analysing risk against diverse business functions, driving cost savings through efficiency improvements and implementing strategic internal risk control strategies.
Her professional focal points include full lifecycle risk management, cross-functional operations oversight, data-driven decision-making, multi-layered communication, governance, measurement, reporting, stakeholder relations, business intelligence, process efficiency, regulatory compliance, crisis coordination, team leadership, training/coaching, risk analysis, response strategy and internal control.
As well as benefiting the WorldClaim Partners enterprise directly through her expertise in risk assessment and management, Rachel also utilises her experience to assist our clients understand their own risk mitigation. Rachel’s role involves overseeing the operations of the organisation, making sure that they support the desired customer experience and that the organisation’s operations are integrated with continuous improvement values.
Brian C Jones
OPERATIONS
Brian Jones is an experienced insurance executive across claims, underwriting, operations, technology and marketing. He has held executive roles with top tier insurers, mid sized and start ups and managed change management and turn around scenarios resulting in increased revenue, decreased expenses, speed to market and new and improved product offerings. Participated in several industry support groups and technology professional with successful results and exits.
Brian brings a wealth of international and operational insurance experience combined with connections to an extensive network of insurance professionals across the globe.
